Welcome to the provisional website of the Department of Optoelectronics The University of Duisburg-Essen (UDE) has become the target of a cyber attack. As a result, the entire IT infrastructure had to be shut down and disconnected from the network. Central services such as e-mail, landline telephony, Moodle, HISinOne and LSF are available – other services will follow. Are courses affected? All courses will continue to be taught face-to-face. What happens next? The teaching and learning platform Moodle is accessible outside the UDE network, as is SCIEBO. Other services are currently only available on campus (e.g. via EDUROAM).
